Swing dancing is back, and all of a sudden, it's gone from trendy to just plain cool. But before you don your dancing shoes, you better learn some steps. Our favorite instructors: Rob 'n' Diane. A California State and National Champion, as well as a self-professed scholar of swing, Rob van Haaren has been dancing for 14 years; his partner, Diane Thomas, more than keeps up. Not only do they love to dance and love to teach, but they also look fabulous doing it - a shining example for aspiring swingers. It's no wonder they have such a large following. At a recent lindy hop lesson at Broadway Studios, about 150 men and women danced through their newly learned steps with the radiant enthusiasm of the recently enlightened.
